Preserving Dual Purpose Irish Setters

Beautiful weather

We have been able to walk outside a whole bunch yesterday and today.  It was a balmy 7C yesterday and is 4C today, so unseasonable warm.  The pups love it!  It is much easier to tire them ou this way.  I wish my camera was not at the repair shop, the iphone just does not do the fun justice, but as it is better than nothing, I have upoaded some photos from our walks.

Temperament testing tomorrow, vaccinations/microchips on Monday and then the first two go Monday afternoon.  The pups will get lots of car rides this week as it is one and a half hours to temperament testing tomorrow, and 2.5 hours to the veterinarians on Monday.  I am going to go down Sunday afternoon and go to the fun trap shoot with friends who are trying thier hardest to improve my shotgunning skills!  They are brave folks because they agreed to let myself and 14, 8 week old pups stay the night!  YIKES!

Late next week five more pups will fly to their new  homes. and I will be down to a normal sized litter!  LOL!
