Russell Irish Setters

Preserving Dual Purpose Irish Setters

Better four week pics

I posted some better photos of the pups into the RioXHope 4 week album that I took with the big camera.  Taken the same day as the last photos, but with a better camera and lense, and I think there is a pic of each of them, but to be honest I think I lost track.

Pups had their second deqorming today, nails - again - I swear the nails on pups are getting smaller as I get older, and new coloured ribbons.  The bites are looking good, eye colour is looking chocolate brown on at least half, and hard to tell yet on the other half.  Their rear angulation is looking superb, can't really say on the fronts yet, but as they get their feet more under them I think there might be some nice ones.  I need to work a bit more on stacking now.  Coming when called is going okay, and I think they are ready for more learning work. I had a friend over yesterday, and she was amazed at how outgoing the pups were.  She has a neighbour with a small boy and she is going to ask  him to come over - as I get older I find there are fewer friends with little kids.

Definitely seeing personalities coming out, and tendencies.  They are bold, friendly, not incautious, but definitely confident.

Coat colour looks like it is going to be fairly dark to dark!  Yay.   All in all I would say the litter is looking really nice, and I am happy with them.
